Okay, i just saw this in the canadian side and i wanted to see if Americans could pull it off too (not to copy our neighbors to the north). Lets see all of the american slang, regional if you must but state the region that you say it in. Oh yeah, any o in this part of mine is pronounced with an "ah" sound common around the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Upper Michigan region.

This is for Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Upper Michigan

pertineer: dangerously close, it is from saying pretty near way too fast

goner (pronounced gahner): someone who is in deep trouble

Gosh Dern it: trying to express a status of dislike without blaspheming

Fib: A derrogatory term used for people who vacation in wisconsin from Illinois (F**king Illinois Bastard)

cheese head: a terrible derrogatory term for someone from Wisconsin, its pretty self explanitory

Youper: someone from the upper peninsula of Michigan, also used for a VERY thick Canadian accent comming from someone in America

Troll: Someone from the southern peninsula of Michigan

Da Mad Town: Madison in classic youper style

Fish-fry (pronounced feesh friee): a friday night ritual common almost nowhere else but Wisconsin. Basically, every friday people go to a restaurant and eat fish

Da Twin Cities (Da tween Cidiees): the Minneapolis Saint Paul area

'n so: no one really knows where the heck this one came from but people like to put it at the end of their sentences. such as: Oh yeah Olie, I did see them pakers 'n so, you?
(Oh ya Olee, Iy did see dem pakrs 'n so, you?)

The north woods (da nort woods): An area of thick trees and forests in northern Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan that is a common retreat for deer hunters

spos: a rough slurring of the word suppose. But it is used for at any time such as to say that they are finished talking or used to move a conversation to an ending

Thats all I have for now, ill get back to you after i listen to my friends for a while.
(Oh ya, Im dahn fer now, I tink ill git back ta my friends an pick up sahm more fer ya, kay?)

By the way, I moved to Wisconsin...I doubt they know how bad they really are.

Out west we say Gosh Darn it with an "a" not "e" (all it is a mellowed form of "god damn it").

And we say s'pose (pronounced spoze as opposed to suhpoze) too. It is just as a shortened version of suppose and is used like, "I s'pose I'll go and rent a movie tonight." It's not all that common though.

Also, we refer to the Minn/St. Paul as "the twin cities"

The rest are foriegn to me.
    Bye.

LMAo This Is No Slang. in Canada We Have All Those Words........ lol its called fake gangster or wiggers. lol. I outta slap someone who says stuff like yo shizz house I godda bounce man before I trip on my crib.... LMAO! Idiots!.......... Meh its Not Really Slang cause we use it all. The Only Slangs Of theres I woudl use without being ridiculde as a wigger would be jet, jack. Also Tax is a common word for steal up in Canada. I think the philly talk like trainsaucer and crape is the only slang I would consider slang. Your just listing street talk......... which is stupid lol. Fo sure hmmmm what does that mean lol they just take of a letter or some crape lol.... Stupid Wiggers Anyways if your gunna waste your time trying to change words and talk street learn a diff language..... Its better. Resemblez nous canadiennes. Plus du nous peut parlent un autre languages, resemblez english et francais............. Arret parlent rue parle et etudies un autre language.!
