okiee wellll...i have been having some issues and wellll...okiee heres my question for some girls...i..wellll...i wet the bed alot on accidant allll the time...welll see one reason i do it is cause i dont develop fast like other boys...y im so small n short...another reason is i am too scared get up at night..aand well..i had a nightlight but my aunt who i live with says i need to try n be a big boy now....
anyway my older sister she sayd that i shud wear diaoers...guess imm wondering if this is a good idea?
imm also wondering if this wud bother a girl if she liked a boy? thanks everyone.

First of all, your situation is more common than you think; 1-2% of teenagers wet the bed. Some teenagers outgrow this as they become adults; others don't. I believe there are some underwears designed for people who are prone to wet the bed, similar to GoodNites-like products, but for people of your age. I don't think you'd need to wear full-out diapers.

There's nothing inherently wrong with a nightlight, although it is something traditionally used by younger kids. If you don't want to use one anymore, just stop using one one night. It may be hard on you that night, but after a couple days or a week, you'll be used to not having a nightlight on.

It may help you to practice getting out of bed at night to go to the bathroom. If you're too scared to get out of bed and bedwet as a result, that may be something solvable. You can train yourself to get out of bed.

Also, I'd recommend not drinking anything before bed. You'll reduce your odds of wetting the bed if you don't drink anything after dinner.

It may help to discuss this with a doctor. Though nothing is guaranteed to work, you and your doctor can explore a variety of options that may help.

Well I wouldn't wear diapers all the time during the day..... Merely only the goodnite things at during sleep until you grow out of it.

Well it just depends on the girl. I mean that shouldn't be a sole reason that a girl isnt interested or doesn't like you.

Its not that embarrising. I've heard worst situations. All i can say is if the girl really likes you she should have no problem wit it.

There is place and time for everything. I think you are too young to be bothered what girls think. You will have all your life to think about that.
If you are scared to go out of bed during night you are deffinitelly to young to plan anything with girls. You will have enough time for that So, don't worry.

Have you considered speaking with your doctor and seeing if there are other psychological backings to why you're wetting the bed? Wetting the bed is not that uncommon, as Josh (hehe) pointed out, but there is often an underlying reason and you should perhaps consider exploring that.

Your under-development is not something that should affect this unless it's affecting you emotionally, in which case there may be something there. Have a chat to an expert and see if they can help you, often the problem is very easily sorted out, it just requires some guidance.

A flashlight is a wonderful idea.

Also, don't drink anything starting two hours before you go to bed. Pee before you go to bed.

Haha i cant sleep if i dont pee before sleeping

oh ya and dont pee in your dreams k! Cuz if you do then it also happens in real life...

Here what i think you should do.
1. Pee before bed
2. Keep a flashlight at hand
3. Set and alarm clock or something to wake you up halfway through the night so you can take a leak.
This way u drain your fluids as much as possible and have less of a chance of bed wet
