Hi guys, looking for some advice... basically me and my girlfriend had our son 10 months ago since he's been born we havent had sex much and when we have it's not been proper... weve always stopped for 1 reason or another. When i asked her why we harldy ever have sex, she said because she feels down... basically she hates her job, is worrying about money as we've been struggling lately, and she says she's tired all the time...
also she says she sees me as more of a friend now and feels our relationship isnt what it used to be... therefore she feels because she see's me as a friend more than her partner, she doesnt really want sex... i really dont know what to do guys.. she says she loves me, and says she still attracted to me etc... she just says she isnt ever in the mood for sex at the moment... i personally feel its all related to her job - she doesnt like the job, doesnt like the hours she does, and she has to work some weekends which she hates and i think everything sort of stems from that tbh because she really isnt happy with her job at all... i've tried to help her find another job but she wont apply for any... i really dont know what i can do to help get our sex life back again... (before we had the littlun we had sex at least 2/3 times a week) now were lucky to have it once a month... |

well it seems to me there is a lot on her plate, and yours right now. She can definitely just be tired, and after the baby gets a little older things may switch back when the baby phase is over. i would console he as best you can and not hassle her too much about it. Or make a real romantic gesture to rekindle that spark you guys have seemed to lost. That sounds like a really good idea to me. I am sure things will get better after a while. With a will there's a way

On top of all of that, your girlfriend probably doesn't want to risk having a second child--if one is causing a lot of stress, having another child isn't going to help.
You can't make your girlfriend want to have sex with you or be more attracted to you. One of the sexiest things you can do is help out with your son and help out around the house a lot; ease her load so she's more relaxed and less stressed out. Other than that, you should communicate with her--ask her what would make her want to have sex more, ask what you can do for the relationship and parenting, etc.
