When i masturbate i mostly think about men and i like looking at penises online, but i dont like this. I want to masturbate and like women. It's like my penis is gay but my brain is straight. Also, i have once masturbated with a friend of mine i didn't see his penis though cuz we turned the lights off. Is this normal?

Sexual orientation is defined by what you are attracted to, not what you want to be attracted to. In your case, it sounds like you're gay. Not wanting to be gay is natural, but doesn't change the fact of the matter.

Masturbating with friends is certainly common to many teeenage guys. There's risks and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, but there's nothing wrong with it either.

This... You can't choose what you are attracted to... If you like something/someone then you like something/someone... I wish I had green eyes but I have blue... Just because our mind desires something doesn't mean that we ARE that... No one can accurately tell you your sexuality other than you, but it does sound like you may be gay or at least bi... But either way you are still the same person you were since... FOREVER!!! Being gay/bi is perfectly normal and at times more fun than being straight (however, I wouldn't know, haha)...

Seeing that we don't know his age, we can't flat out tell him he's probably gay. This could be hormonal and wear off over time, he could be curious, bi or possibly gay. But I wouldn't say that could be accurately determined by the info given. Just be yourself radatomicbunny and overtime it will become clear. Also, being gay requires both a physical and emotional attraction, not just the physical, so don't be too put off by this for now

Uhh... yeah, actually, we can. We cannot say with certainty that he will be gay, of course. But we can certainly say that if he is attracted to guys and not girls, he is probably gay. Which is all I said.

again, what you're failing to see is there are more possibilities than just gay or straight. and looking at your first comment you said "it sounds like you're gay". There isn't much uncertainty in that statement and what I'm trying to say is you can't be so forward like that. These can be serious issues and you can't take them lightly.

All David said was that it sounds like he is gay... which is a perfectly valid response given the situation. There's nothing wrong with asserting a point of view or take on a situation; we say all along this is a teenage website where you can get layman's advice. Simple.

You're right that these are serious issues and ones that should be treated with a level of responsibility on our (the people replying) part, but what we say does not change the situation in terms of sexuality, which is already defined.

Radatomicbunny; your situation is one many pubescent boys go through, where they feel fully confused in regards to what actually attracts them. There is every chance this is down to hormones and therefore either the women or the men will become uninteresting to you as you develop, but there's also the potential that you are in fact bisexual. At this stage in your life, I think it's going to be hard to define either way. No sexuality is wrong, so go with the flow, act on what you enjoy (within reason), and let time do the clarifying.

The reason why you think your penis is gay and your brain is straight is because of your hormones. Your mind rages up with thoughts, your blood must have pressured your penis to erect with you look at stuff online.

Just because you think about naked men while you masturbate doesn't mean that you're attracted to naked men. It could be mere coincidence seeing as you're touching your own penis. I think a lot of it has to do with you being curious.

Being curious does not make you gay. However, if you're emotionally attracted to a male, then I would say that you are gay.

The thing with a friend could be amounted to hormones. But you said:

combined with "my penis is gay" means I would assume you're at the very least going to be on that side of the sexuality spectrum. There's nothing to worry about. You can still get the same things out of life (for the most part) if you're gay. Just don't worry about it and see where it takes you. Worrying about something you have no control over, as well as trying to control it as you are, makes no sense.
