I want to take a pharmacology class!!!

I was just selecting my classes for next semester, and I need to complete organic chemistry before I can move onto biotechnology.

Fine, but they also offer a pharmacology course for the nursing program... because I'm not enrolled in the nursing program I can't register for that class as much as I want to.

Are there any classes at your Uni that you wish were more easily accessible or offered to begin with?

my uni offers pharmacology through the psych faculty, i guess for the neurosci peeps. i wish i could do my minor as a science psychology instead of arts, but i cant because it requires too much math, which im poor at.

EDIT: Bitotech is my major an the only reason that I picked it up the first place was because of my fascination with cannabinoids, and their many medicinal applications.

EDIT: Im taking one, "Drug Education" or someting like that. But by the sound of it it's just going to explore the family of abusable psychtropic substances (so... easy grade, yeah) but I want to take the science behind it, you know, how it interacts with the body a more in depth level, not just that cocaine is a drug of abuse, but I want to discuss its activation at dopamine, 5-HT, norepinephrine, NMDA, and sigma receptors.

Does it really matter that you're not able to take the class? Buy a few books and do an independent study. If you're interested in learning something and not being rewarded with good grades and praise, then go to Amazon and order a few books. Go through a chapter every day and find somebody who will make you tests and take them, or if the book is half decent complete the exercises after every topic.

And yes, there are plenty of courses I'd like to be taking that I can't in school. Some courses include neuroscience, pathology, immunology, pathology, and pharmacology. But I'm independately studying each of those. I go through a chapter of each at least once per week.

Been there done that. I can explain the exact mechanisms of most SSRIs without having to use any reference, I really want to get more in depth.

Now, I'm not a pharmacuteologisticalogist but isn't 150 milligrams of tamazepam roughly 4 - 5 times higher than the recommend maximum dosage for a whole day? Is not 100 milligrams of butalbital entirely pointless? Is not the dosage of clonazepam more suited to someone suffering from repeated seizures?

Excuse me if I am incorrect, but your doctor is either insane, or woefully wrongly-qualified if they have proscribed you medications with enable you to take that cocktail of drugs in one evening. I know, for instance, that you would never receive enough tablets in 2 months in the UK to get up to 150 milligrams of tamazepam. Our systems cannot be that disparate.

Well psych/sociology class is only for juniors and seniors so that would have been nice to have been available earlier but i love film study so i can wait a year.
