Default Uni help

I'm hoping to go to University next year but i am a bit worried as i got a grade E in Maths but i am retaking my English and i hope to get c or above. I'm doing well in my course so UCAS points should not be a problem.

Does anyone know if there are any uni,s i could get into and i havnt decided a course yet.

Erm, you need to give more details.

Are you on about maths and english at GCSE? or Alevel?

If GCSE than yeah the general rule is you need at least C, at the more top unis you will need even higher. At the 'lower' unis they tend to be more slack about the requirements, you have to check the individual unis.

You are going at this the wrong way. You pick a course first and than the uni which offers that course.

Different unis are good at different subjects, Uni of Leicester is good at physics while DMU for example might not even teach it, (im sure it does but example).

Ucas points can be misleading, the general rule is the 'lower' unis will be more willing to accept UCAS points but the further up the ranks you go the more likely they will insist on specific grades.

Anyway, short answer, there is always a university place for you, no matter what grades you have, if you can write your name some unis will let you in. But that doesn't mean you will enjoy that course or be happy.
