Sometimes i feel very different from other people, as if I don't belong in any circle. I've always felt this awkwardness my whole life, like I'm not supposed to even be in this realm

Try to get more involved with them like hang out with them more, talk with then more, it helped me a lot.

Yea I agree. To have friends is one thing but to truly feel like you belong you have to hang out a lot. Otherwise it'll just feel like you're going through the motions.

I know what you mean! I have friends and stuff, but honestly, I'm a bit of a loner and I'd rather be on my own just chilling out then in a big group of people. Its not that I'm antisocial, I just need less social interaction to be happy. My boyfriend's actually the same way, so the two of us will just hang out and be totally content with it. I think if you don't mind being more of a loner then it can be a good thing.

If you feel so isolated, I'd recommend finding someone that shares most if not all the same interests... It gives you someone to be isolated with, basically. You aren't the only person who feels out of place, so I'm sure one of your friends might be in a similar situation...

some people are just meant to be loners (not talking about you generally). this is coming from personal experience.

even if you find a group of friends to hang out with sometimes you could still feel left out because you dont have much in common, but you hang out with them anyway because you dont want to be lonely...but its good to try and make alot of friends because it lets you know alot of people and then you could find friends that have alot in common with you and you wouldnt feel as lonely as you did before

do you want to fix this or do you have little motivation to do so?

if you want to ammend this situation you need to get to the root of why you are a loner. is it because you dont trust people enough to open up and consequently shut people out? is it because you refuse to believe that you can relate to them? is it because people are making fun of you?

the are two starkly different kind of loners. those who have been forced into isolation by others and those who chose to isolate themselves.
