ecstasy question

ok so idk if this question is allowed here. so lock it if isnt. but.. i havent taken ecstasy in three months. about a month ago i took one yellow pill that lasted a whole thirty minutes. And last night there was a huge concert here and i took two mollys. I felt the effects but again it only last like an hour or two and was nothing major. Like it wasnt full feeling effect.
In the summer when i started taking it, i would roll hard and it would last all night.. and i mean i could feell it hard. Why cant i feel it anymore?

You have been warned before, read these, especially:

--telling others to take or to not take a drug
--do not ever tell a user either to take drugs or to not take drugs: this is a highly sensitive matter and you are not qualified anyone else what to do

Unless you can provide a substantiated argument for why he shouldn't take ecstasy, then your subjectivity is not welcome here.

You could be taking a less pure form of MDMA, or as Prismatic already stated, you could be building up a tolerance to the drug.

Tolerance to MDMA or any related phenthylamine is a valid explanation to why one would not feel the effects as strongly as they did previously. However, within the time frame of usage that the OP describes, development of tolerance is unheard of, unless he takes amphetamine-like psychoactives somewhat regularly (i.e. amphetamine, methamphetamine, 2-CI, pseudoephedrine, etc, etc.).... but even then, cross-tolerance is only minimal.

It's far more likely that the OP has not been obtaining ecstasy, but placebos instead.

I think its just the pills you have been getting. The fact that one only lasted thirty minutes is definitely suspicious... e lasts hours. And Mollys are pretty much pure MDMA so you should have felt them a LOT more and probably not even have needed two, so I doubt they were true Mollys. I doubt you have a "tolerance".

If I found out that I was being sold placebos instead of E, and I thought I was tripping even for an hour, I'd kill myself of embarrassment.

Anyway, yeah I think you should check what you're being sold.

Yeah... no way you built a tolerance like that with that long a period and such small scale use beforehand.

You probably got pills cut full of shit that's not E. Seems especially likely if you got it at a concert.

up to that stage i miss the 5 hrs now its only 1hr

Well, the mind is capable of fabricating scenarios in which one becomes/feels/or does what they believe they are capable of. I mean in many antidepressant trials, the actual substance is has just a slightly higher success rate than the placebo... so.
Say... he was obtaining caffeine, DXM, acetaminophen, what-have-you, he could roll balls if he believed it to be ecstasy.

I've heard of that. That's like a bunch of dudes drinking non alcoholic beverages (which yes, I'm aware is a misnomer) and thinking they're getting drunk, ergo they act drunk. Wasn't sure of the exact credibility of that old story, though.

not that this adds any credibility, but i know it has been done. we discussed it back in my psych class
