Add Maths help..!

any way 2 improve my add maths ive been failin evry test...btw im in 10th grade equivalent sitting 4 spm (o-levels) nxt year

the way i do my adding is say like if you had for example 3749 + 5375, i would do first 3000 + 5000, which would = to 8000. then i would do 700 + 300 which = 1000 , then 40 + 70= 110, then 9+ 5 = 14, then i add it all together which would give the answer 9124.

thats the easiest way for me to add

Just keep practicing your add maths. Find a tuition or something. And btw, its harder when you're at form 4 but it gets easier when you're already form 5. When i was at form 4 i scored 40~50 marks but now i get A1 for add maths all the time.

You have to elaborate on what "add maths" is. The VAST majority of govteen is not familiar with the Malaysian school system.

Try to get home help from your school, or more lessons at school. There is help for you, if you look for it. Talk to your teacher about ways to improve, and work hard. No one here will be able to give you the details you need.

Incidentally, 'add maths' is just a shortened version of 'additional mathematics', which is basically the kind of shit we'd do over here and there. Calc, trig, equations, blah blah.

well in secondary(or high school in us) maths is spilt into 2 subjects..modern maths n additional maths... maths is mostly logic...like mathematical resoning..3-d shapes..n so on..add maths is an advanced level that consists of algebra..calculus..n trigonometry

If it is possible, get a Math Tutor. I have (had) a tutor and he helped a heap. They are relatively cheap. If you do not want a tutor, ask the school for assistance. Whether it be before, during or after school. My teacher was full of advice and was able to help whenever I needed it.

Technicly modern maths has algebra, calculus and trigonometry as well. As i said, to master add maths all you have to do is practice.
