Happy Vent?..... HELL FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm like so psyched, and riding a total ego trip.. and I just need to like scream it out.

So, I went into Bloomingdale's for what was supposed to be just a quick meeting with my manager, and to pick up my schedule (officially starting work next week).

Well it happened that the men's department suddenly got swamped when we walked into it. So the manager jumped on the floor... and so did I (out of instinct). I was helping one woman who just wanted to get a gift for her son... shirt in hand, I quickly pointed out to ties, the sales we're running, yata yata.
The woman walked out of there with a $500 charge on her Bloomingdale's account, along with 3 shirts, 2 ties, 1 pair of slacks, and two gift cards.

The manager allowed me to clock in, and ring her up, and then placed me on the floor for a full shift. He hi-fived me.. and I think he was a bit shocked at how I was able to nonchalantly talk this woman into buying gifts for other people.
Today was a relatively slow day, but I'm pretty sure I was top in sales for men's. I clocked out with $2,345.99 as my total in sales for the day.

Oh, and I got a pair of Ferragamo's for $158... my manager gave it a price adjustment from the original $499

He bumped me up to full-time seasonal employee, I'm shitting bricks. My commission's gonna be through the roof!

Atta boy! The sales life can be great at times, can't it? Gotta love those sales that go absolutely perfectly right, and at a time when your manager is there to see it.
