Happy trail problem

im 16 and i dont like my happy trail. im just wondering that if i shave it, will it grow thicker and darker cas i dont want dat??? have u ever shaved ur happy trail??

Well it will grow back if you shave it so if you won't to get rid of it you have to shave it every few days (give or take depending on how fast your hair grows back) it won't grow back thicker but if you notice hairs that you have never cut before they are thin at the top and if you shave you will loose the thin part but that is about it

You can shave it, but if you decide you don't want it it will never grow back the same for the reasons Eric stated. Since it's such a small and flat area, though, it's really easy to maintain if you choose to keep it smooth.

I think what the thing you have to do is wax it off (may hurt) or pluck the hairs out (this may take a long timmmme)

Anytime you shave anything it will grow back. It may or may not grow back thicker, it is unlikely but as you are advancing into puberty more it becomes a higher probability.

I doubt that just because you shave it it will grow back thicker. It'll probably get thicker just because of the fact that you're still developing. If you want to shave it then do so.

If you shave any part of your body, it will grow back thicker, but it will never grow back with so much difference in thickness that you will actually take notice to it. If you think of a hair as a cone, that has a pointy tip on the end. If you cut the cone halfway down, it no longer has a tip, but the hair continues to grow in the shape of the cone, except now, there is no tip and where you cut the cone, is now the smaller end. But since human hair is so small, you would never be able to see that with the naked eye. If you want to shave your happy trail, go right ahead, you'll never notice the difference.

That would be an unintelligent way to think about it, since hair isn't a cone.

No, your hair won't grow back thicker just because you shave it. Since hair gets thicker over the course of puberty anyways, it might seem like it gets thicker, but that's an illusion.

I wont lie; im jealous you have a thick enough happy trail to have to shave it.
i have had a thin happy trail for over 2 years now, I want it to be thicker; so when my shirt is off girls will see how thick it is (as though an extension of what is hidden in my swim suit).
