my guy points slightly downwards and i wanted to know if this is normal. i have heard that most guys point upward and that this improves performance and techniques like standing sex, is this true?

The erect penis should point upwards or horizontal. Some do point downwards its to do with the tightness off the ligaments. The tighter the ligaments the higher it points. It is sometimesw however due to a structural problem, so if it used to point up and now doesn't it suggest some damge to the ligaments. If u are worried visit ur GP or urologist.

But, I know that some guys have erections that stick straight out.

Well honestly it pointing downward is not normal in most boys but I don't think it bad. I would ask your doctor about it at you next phisical

would assume its the ligament, but not always a problem.

They are all different. Its fine that yours points about down, I think there are more important things in life. I've had sex with different girls and for example I never did it standing up.

im not an expert but from everyone ive talked to, lots of peoples point different ways and unless it like hurts or something, pointing down isnt a problem

i dont think u need to worry about it unless it hurts.... like everyone said... it could also be the ligaments. mine points straight out and to the side because it has a small curve. a lot of them r different

Mine points out somewhat and then curves down when hard and it is nothing wrong with mine.
