so this is my senior year & for fun i thought id do something besides being a club. so i was thinking about trying out for the bowling team but i have not bowled in awhile so i went to practice yesterday & i did reallyyyy bad. like my highest score was an 88. i dont even know now if i should even bother trying out for the team. i dont want o be the only loser there who sucks reallly bad. any advice is appreciated. thanks

Eh, give it a shot. It's your last year, even if your bad who gives a crap. Just enjoy yourself and play. You probably won't have another opportunity like this, and who knows, maybe you'll discover a new hobby in the process

I agree with above posts, This being your last year, you shouldn't miss it. who knows whether you will get this chance in the future or not. Practice more often and you would become better as the time goes.

well i appreciate everyones support and encouragement. I did end up going but i did really bad. I did worse than when I usually go practice by myself. The other thing that sucks is they changed how they are doing teams this year so its harder to get on the team now. which pretty much means a no go for me. we have 1 more tryout day tomorrow for final decision. I probably will go but almost do not even want to waste my time.

You tried, it doesn't matter if you did bad but you went and tried which matters.

All that matters is you tried. So what you didn't make the team, play for fun! there's always college!

haha yeah I think I am going to join a beginners league when I enter college next fall. The college I am going to has a bowling alley on campus in the student center. Its really nice too! lol

Yeah i am glad I tried out even though I did bad. I was really freaking out about just trying out just because I am so shy and I make a big deal about what other people think. So for me to over come that and still go to try outs and last through the whole 3 games. I was proud of myself. Thanks for the support guys!
