Why do...
Why do most of the girls like to go out with bad boys (when i mean bad boys, i mean those who bully & tease others - jock, jerks type of guys...not delinquents) over the nice guys? I just don't get it...

Girls tend to go out with the bad boys mainly for the excitement-factor. Occassionally it could also have the underlying meaning of trying to be a rebel (EX: Mommy wouldn't approve of the listed "bad boy.") Hopefully your getting what I'm saying.

Er, because young girls don't know what they want most of the time and are looking to have a high social status and arm candy. it's not that hard to figure out

Personally, I was never into the whole bad boy thing. [Well, maybe in movies, but not in real life] I was never interested in dating some jerk.
Typically, it's phases girls go though. Younger girls want this "bad boy" type as a status symbol. Older boys, usually, who act tough and bully. Then as they get older, they complain "I just want a boy that is a gentleman etc etc". At least from what I've seen. I've been dating my boyfriend for 2 years. He brings me flowers, holds doors open for me, gives me his sweaters when it's cold out, and always says please and thank you. Girls eat that stuff up, and so do your girl's parents. If you're naturally polite, dont try to fit this bad boy label. Stay just the way you are, it's better in the long run.

Because they don't feel very good about themselves.
They like to see evidence to back up what they believe. If boys are too nice to them it can't be because they're not worthless it must be because the boys are also worthless. Therefore the only boys who aren't worthless are those who back up the girls' theory that they are worthless. |

In high school, I can guarantee you its mostly about image. I had a friend who was going out with a guy who was treating her like she, she even admitted it to me but "he's so hot" was her exact response to why she didn't break it off. I think in high school its pretty much like that, after graduating I've noticed a lot of girls lose that, even senior year some do. For some reason, I'm not saying all girls are like this, because its not true, but a lot are less superficial after high school and keeping "images."
