What do you call this?

I call them fries (sometimes french fries) and I like them with tartar sauce (and ketchup, but mostly tartar sauce)

EDIT - Ignore the fact that they're crinkled, I'm asking in general what it's called, whether they're crinkled like this or straight or etc.

EDIT 2 - Assume "Liberty Fries" are also "Freedom Fries"...I completely got that mixed up

EDIT: I voted french fries but I suppose I call them fries a lot too... idk... it changes.

depends who i'm talking to

fries generally but chips if the people i'm talking to will tell me off for being "too American"

and they're best with apple sauce(which apparently makes me incredibly weird) or ranch dressing or salad cream

edit: or curry sauce or gravy...i keep thinking of more things!

I usually think of the thick cut ones as chips, because those are usually what come with fish and chips

Generally fries. Sometimes french fries, but almost never.
I normally eat them with ketchup, but I like ranch sauce sometimes when it's available.

I call them fries, french fries, and curly fries even though they aren't really curly. It's just those squiggly lines look curly...lol.

I like to have those kind of fries with ketchup and sometimes I love to dip with Honey Mustard.
