You seem like good enough friends for him to be considered a best friend, I feel. Besides you can have more than one best friend. There's nothing wrong with that.

to the OP (origional poster)i noticed you were new and thought i'd let you know before somebody else is rude about it. since this topic is Not puberty related, it does not belong in Boys Puberty 101, because this forum is for questions relating to puberty only, if you click the govteen logo at the top of every page you will see a listing off al the forums offered, under each forum, it has a description.

as an example, a question like this would belong in the "teen to teen advise" section. and to answer your question, it sounds like you have a friend indeed

Everyone has a different perception and opinion of 'best friend,' but in my eyes, he seems like a pretty decent friend you associate yourself with. It seems like you guys are comfortable enough to confide in eachother. Loyalty is a big aspect.
