Default Favorite Coffee (by roast)

What's your favorite type of coffee (flavors do not count), and how do you brew it?

*poll coming*

I'm not exactly terribly picky, but I don't enjoy weaker shit.

Drip isn't exactly my preferred method of brewing, or even close, but it's the method that's most available to me so I tolerate it. Big fan of the French Press though.

I always drink bold, espresso roasted, or extra bold blends. Working at Starbucks, (as we get a free pound of coffee every week), that's pretty much all I've been consuming recently. Even though I <3 Pilón, I didn't select Latin American coffees, because it's been a good year since I've had any.

I prefer multi-region blends (from Starbucks in order of preference: Yukon Blend, Italian Roast, Cafe Verona, Gold Coast, and French Roast), I like the Asian ones as well (Komodo Dragon and Sumatra).

I always French Press my coffee... I'm a major snob about it too, nothing else will do. That is unless of course I'm making a late or cappuccino or some concoction of sorts, I use my capresso machine.

I just got an aeropress single cup coffee press and I'm in love! It's not espresso and not french-pressed, more like concentrated vacuum-brewed. I buy my beans from a local roaster, preferably peaberries medium roast. I used to like Peet's coffee but i feel the quality of their beans has gone downhill in the past 3 yrs and they're having to over-roast their beans like Charbucks to disguise the flaws.

I don't mine is on there D:

One on there i usually drink is instant coffee, because roasted coffee is far too strong for me. And not a clue where it comes from, I think acrabia beans or however you spell it.

Not a clue what's in this, but I prefer latte now most of the time. It comes from starbucks, you can figure it out ^^"

So you're just an American cup o' Java sort of guy... that doesn't necessarily make Starbucks bad quality, because their beans are roasted longer. I've had single cup coffee presses and found the acidity (that usually accompanies the flavor profile of medium roasts) to be unbearable.... this is why I hate Latin American and African beans, they're WAYYY too acidic.
I go for smokey, smooth, and strong. Bold is the weakest I'll drink; but I prefer espresso roast and extra bold (which is roasted longer than espresso).
