Having strong sexual feelings toward my best friend

First off, I'm 18, male, and bi, but my best friend dosen't know that I'm bisexual.

Well, we've known each other for the past 6 years, and these feelings have been increasingly growing. The thing is, I think he might be hiding in the closet too. Should I risk our friendship by telling him how I feel? What would you do in this situation?

The decision is entirely up to you, we can't make it for you, coming out to him could be a big relief off your shoulders or it can ruin your friendship, I wouldn't tell him straight away you really liked him but over time

You have two choices here.

1. You tell him and get this off your chest and you feel relieved knowing you let him know how you feel, risking the fact that he doesnt feel the same way and you lose his friendship.

2. You don't tell him and continue to live with the " What If?" feeling. Also, possibly risking losing him to someone else.

Guess you are caught between a rock and a hard place. You have to make this decision though, we can't force or influence you on what to do. Let us know how it goes though. I hope it does turn out well for you.

It'd probably best to just tell him that you're bisexual first and see how he reacts instead of telling him that you're bisexual and have feelings for him. It could freak him out if he's not interested. If he actually is gay, he may open up to you once you tell him you're bisexual.

Well I told him I'm bisexual - and it turns out he is too. So I guess I'm on the right track lol.

yeah, but now both of us coming out of the closet to our family is another thing... Also, my family knows my best friend and his parents very well. So if start having a relationship with him, it's going to be a little awkward.

You only live once. Given that mantra, the choice seems obvious to me.
