Default Finally!

So since like 2005, I've been worring about being bi. So yesterday I told a really close friend, that i trusted. And she feels no different towards me. It feels so good to have told someone! Its been bothering me for a while. I have this major crush on this boy. And I told her that I did. And its just so nice to be able to tell someone that I think that this boy is cute! This problem has really brought me down in the last couple of years. Its to a point where I wish that I was this kid! Just thought I'd share! Anyone else have or had the same problem?

Thanks,
Zack

Congrats. I am sure that was pretty difficult for you to accept and admit openly. You are a really brave young man and I applaud you on your courage. I hope it continues to go well and you are more open with others.

Congratulations! I told a few friends not that long ago about being bi and I agree it's very nice to have someone to talk! I'm glad everything is going so well and you are able to finally be you! It's a good feeling, enjoy it!

I probably wont tell anyone else that I am. Just becasue trust is a major thing for me. But my friend that I told that to, she thinks the boy I like is bi to! She can just pretty much tell who is and who isn't. It would be amazing if he was! LOL.

Thanks guys! She suggested that I be the same around him. I just pick around, just like every other teen boy acts around their friends! She said that if I act any different around him, then he might think something is up! And think that Im bi!

...congrats....but what you have written troubles me. Please don't be offended, I WANT you to feel GOOD about yourself like you do now, but I also want you to be honest with yourself.

This attraction sounds to me like it is a boyish curiosity of SEXUAL and PHYISICAL attraction, but it hardly sounds like an emotional attraction.

Trust me buddy, I go to an all boy school that is predominately beautiful rich boys (myself not included in the rich boy category) and I struggled with this a lot for years.

Psychologists say that most people who claim to be bisexual are in between sexual decisions, still developing emotionally, confused, or just denying homosexuality. Unfortunately, most teens who say they are bisexual are not taken seriously.

But I ENCOURAGE you to do what YOU feel is right. I'm happy that you feel good and relieved, and your friend is a good friend.

Don't take this personally please.

You really have to be careful about highschool homosexual crushes. Because if you guess wrong about him being bi/gay and you arent ready for the hail storm that could be coming, your life could be changed just a bit. I'm not trying to say don't be what you feel. But realize that kids can be very mean and if you're different you will be labeled and ridiculed. Some kid at my school came out of the closet and within the year ended his life. After that happened i never wanted it to happen to another, so i just want to make sure you are sure before you make any drastic choices.

Congratulations on coming out to her, it would of been very hard to that. I hope everything else goes well for you and wish you the best

I would hope if you tell someone that they wouldn't betray you and tell everyone, so you might need to watch who u say it to

Of course te first attraction to someone is physical. What else do you have to go by if you haven't met the person before? Are trying to say that you look at a girl and are attracted by her stunning debating abilities? No it's physical attraction that gets things rolling. A guy that has feelings for another guy are just as valid as a guy having a crush on a girl.

You think no oine has ever liked a girl because of her personality, or her skills, or her sense of humor? Not everyone is completely shallow...

From the way he explained it, he thinks this boy is good looking, mixed with hormones = I want to have sex with this boy. Actually liking someone is about more than that. If you don't think so, good luck ever trying to have a real relationship.

you misunderstand, he was trying to say, when you FIRST SEE someone that you like them for their looks, and then when you TALK to them you see their personality
