I have a lot of abilities that i have, that i admire. I am in highschool now and when highschool ends, i don't know what i would do. I can't decide what i want to be. Maybe it's because i don't know about them yet. I just want some advice on seeing how i would chose a good career for me in the furure.

Firstof all chack which subject you are most interested in and then check the careers related to it and what attracts you the most and you will be able to chose a career in it.

You're only 14. There's plenty of time for you to experience new things and to make decisions. As you grow, you will mature and your view on things will change. As you go through high school and life as a student, you'll have to pleasure of going through and meeting a wide variety of courses, people, and experiences. It's too early for you to determine this right now. Just a year ago I wanted to be a game designer, then a personal trainer, then a biologist, then a software engineer, and now a doctor. As you can see, things constantly change.

At the very least, plan on immediately matriculating into a university once you graduate highschools. You have a bit of time still to decide on the specifics..

People with 4-year degrees end up in real careers, somehow, someway. People with anything less than that are relegated to only doing jobs. Anyone who thinks otherwise is giving far to much credit to the lucky few without degrees, or is simply exceedingly naive..

It's not mandatory to know exactly what you want to do after high school. But if you're looking for ideas, explore different subjects and see what you are genuinely interested in. As you go through school, you might change your mind about things, and choose a career path you hadn't thought of before. I wouldn't stress about it at this point though, I would just worry about doing well in school if nothing else.

If you WANT a real career, you WILL HAVE to go onto college. A degree gets you a career. Otherwise, you WILL just have only a job. Maybe a good job, but probably not one that you can consider to be a real career.

You should first assess yourself on what you really like doing and have your time invested in. From that point, you can weigh on things that really matters. It's much easier to pursue a career that interests you.

Honestly, you have 4 years to worry about it, so over that spread, figure out what you're into. You know when I came to varsity, I still didn't know what I wanted to do exactly haha. I was deciding my major and wanted to change my course completely. Now though, even if I wanted to, I can't change it as that means I'd have to start all over again and I'm not about to do that. So make sure you know what you want! You MUST go to a four year institution if you want a real career.
