Im just pissed at school/life/everything.

Some one must be able to answer this?

Whats the point in life?

I've just lost all sight in what life is. What do I get out of it.

Im atheist and I guess thats where the problem lies. I get born learn, spend my life working die and then what? I dont believe in any after life.

I guess choosing A-levels has brought this on.... What I decide over the next few weeks basically sets up my life and I dont like that thought.

I just think now, what if I took my own life? There would be a few tears but the world would move on and then thats it.

I needed that.

This could have fitted into a few sections I just saw it as a vent, so feel free to move this mods.

It depends on who you ask. Do you want an Existentialist's response, or a religious person's response? Do you want an honest response?

An atheist? Then your answer is exceedingly plain and simple. There is no point to life. Period. The universe will destroy you as it does all matter in time. But, I personally find Atheism to be indirect arrogance. It is to claim with certainty that you know something which you cannot: that 100% no God exists. At least the agnostic leaves some room for the chance that he may only be human and not 100% correct all of the time...

Honestly, don't allow anything to box you in. If you end up changing your mind later on, so be it..

Then you would be dead. And your carbon would be returned from whence it came.

Correct. However, if you choose to stay alive and actually do something, you can make it so those "few tears" will turn into a "a lot of tears" later on... If you contribute nothing, then no one will remember you. If you contribute a lot, you will have a legacy.
