Default A little test...

So far everyone has failed it. I decided to try a little test with a facebook app, I put down a guy as someone I wanted to kiss on this thing (I filled it out truthfully) and not 1 minute after postage, two people were already on about it, then a third, all demanding to know what the fuck was wrong with me.

I've been juggling the thought of going public with my friends about my bisexuality (they don't actually need to know, it's more just for reactional purposes) and this is just a small taster of what i'll recieve; hate and bitterness from people who have known me for about 5 years straight. It's funny how 1 little thing can enrage people who have been your peers for at least 5 years.

Thus far, not one person has commented about anything more than how it's weird to choose a guy over a plethora of women, every response has been against it, and i'm not so glad to say that nobody i've seen grow up and mature has matured enough to learn even basic tolerance, i'm not even hoping for acceptance, it seems far too much for ask from such narrow-minded fools.

Wow, your "friends" sound like total wankers to be honest, i'm actually pretty shocked how they could be like that.

Add me and i'll stick up for ya.

I dunno why FB calls them friends, more like 'minor aquaintences whom I have no desire to actively engage in much more than basic conversation with.'

You just described all but about 4 of the people on my facebook.

I've always prefered calling people aquaintances, seems more accurate.

You shouldn't be surprised at their reaction --- even if you feel they are out of line.. Bear in mind that most of us regard ourselves as heterosexuals. Additionally, sexuality tends to be something that most people feel very strongly about --- regardless of what orientation they claim to be of....

Your decision to go public is yours to make. Just bear in mind that it will not be universally received well.

I hope everything works out for you. And that's all I'm going to say, as the Politically-Correct-Police are probably just waiting to pounce on me here....
