Title for Step-Mom/Dad
I am just wondering, if any of you have a step mom or step dad, do you call them "Mom..." or "Dad...", or do you call them by their first name?
One of my friends calls her step mom by her first name, and was just wondering about this.

I call both my step-mom and step-dad by their first names.
I love both of them dearly, but they're still not my mom and dad.

I have a step-mom who became my step mom when I was about 13. I dislike her and she will never be anything like a mother to me so therefore I call her by her first name, "Jenn".
Sometimes I refer to her as the bitch or something else just as negative.

When I was younger, I used to call my step-father "dad," but time has proven that he's no better than my own father was, so I call him, and my father by their first names.

Well I have had 2 step moms and soon to be 3. I have referred to all of them by their first name. Simply because I could never call anyone else mom. Never had a step- dad though. My mom has had people that could be close she has just never re-married.

My older siblings call my mother by her name. My niece calls her "Nanny Karan."

Most of my friends refer to their step-mother or step-father by their first name. I'd have to say that I'd do the same because I wouldn't feel comfortable calling them mom and dad. Some may see it as disrespectful but I just wouldn't be able to do it.

Well address my step mom through her first name. It really depends how you love them, calling them "mom" or "dad' will really make them happy.
