Off the top of my head I think there is at least two members around here who have EMT training with Ben, the Administrator, being one and Ricky, the Administrator, being the second. I believe there are some other folks around here who are EMTs or in the process of becoming EMTs, too, but I have forgotten who they are.

Now that this thread has come back up again I thought of two more folks who might be related to your question. There are two folks on here who work for fire departments as firefighters, and I would think they would have some basic EMT training. The other diary manager by the name of Illumintus (sp?) [http://forums.govteen.com/member.php?u=297] and a member here by the name of Natatha (sp?) [http://forums.govteen.com/member.php?u=65521] were two others I have noticed who had such affiliations. If you are really interested in finding other such people, then you might want to PM Ricky, one of the Diary Managers, as I am sure he can help you.

All of that, plus lots of emergency management courses for me. I'm also a certified CERT instructor..

One day, maybe if I get board, I will go and get my basic EMT license. It's only two classes and a clinical @ the community college. However, I really cannot justify any of this until I'm out of my current undergrad. And at that point, my full intentions are to go onto grad school (I'm a science major, so I'll pretty much have to go to grad school in order to be taken seriously)........so we are looking at a pretty long time frame here for me...

I know one guy: he's got a masters in engineering and works full time at some large corporation. However, he's also an on-call paramedic for my city's fire dept. I think that that is really cool. I would really like to be able to both things like that one day..
