Install Windows first. The Windows bootloader doesn't usually play nicely with non-Microsoft Operating Systems. Whereas Linux bootloaders, Lilo, Grub or whatever should have no problems.

Well I've installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and I now dont feel like I need to install Linux at all. Which is a shame.

Anyway When I try and boot now because I cocked up it comes up with the dual boot menu and shows 'Windows 7' 'Windows 7' and 'Windows Vista' how do I get rid of the useless 2?

Maybe you will eventually if you ever get bored with Windows 7

You need to edit the boot loader.

After a bit of searching in my hard drive I found a 'Windows.old' folder that has all my old documents and Vista in. Ive taken out all of my folders that I need/want.

Would it be okay to just delete this folder now?

Thanks Stephen!,

Ben.

You need to take ownership of the folder. Is that one of the things you tried?
