Going to a club for first time

Okayy heres the thing Im going to an under 18s nightclub on saturday and its my first time (I know, Im a loser lol)... anyway im just kinda wondering...
The people Im going with isnt really my normal group of friends, but I do know some of them quite well, and one of them I talk to like all the time in class and stuff... its just... like, the whole thing lasts for like five hours, and im just wondering what kind of stuff do you do?
im a guy, do guys dance? :s lolll i dunno or do u just sort of hang around and talk and stuff?

You dance with girls. You talk with friends. Most of the time you go in there already under the influence of anything. If not, then it just isnt that fun since you cant drink anyways. I am in no ways condoning doing anything illegal. Im just saying going to a club when you cant drink alcohol isnt that fun. So yea lol.

Nobody really cares that you dance, and the ones that don't obviously aren't confident.

Do whatever you gotta do to have a good time. If that's you dancing, then go out there and shake your ass. If you like sitting and talking, then by all means.

Umm, I believe the question was clubs not parties. Many can argue that there the same thing since the concept is the same. Still, in this case it is different.

Ah, i remember my first time at a club got absolutely trashed and launched off the stage and landed on the stairs but yea just dance and hang out pretty much

Well clubbing always means hanging out with friends,opposite sex the better.You need not take alcohol,you can dance ,ogle,chat and have a good time with out it also.

Yes, guys dance. Also we talk and hang around. Nobody will have problem while you dance. If you get confused what you do then see what your other friends are doing and then you can do it.

I don't know where you live so I can't say anything concrete, but I can tell you what I've experienced from the clubs I've been to. Keep in mind these are Serbian clubs I'm talking about and they're probably 3x wilder than what you have in your area. For the most part, you talk with people, dance, eat, and drink. The first time I went to a club I was almost killed by the massive amount of cigarette smoke, so be prepared for that. And don't be surprised if you encounter drugs. I saw people doing crack and smoking weed in plain sight. But like I said, this is a Serbian club and nothing in Serbia is normal. If you're in the US expect to dance and talk a lot.

Clubbing is only really fun when you have impaired your brain's ability to control your body's actions and words. I honestly find it ironic that one would have to neutralize one's ability to think clearly in order to "trick itself" into thinking that what it is doing is worthwhile...

Hmm you're not really a lose cause like 80% of my school hasn't even been to a club. I've only gone in Europe but it was an american club so I guess it could help.

The main thing is just try to let lose and have fun. Dancing is always good and if u don't know how to dance, no one will judge you (most are too drunk). If you don't like dancing (like me), sit down and talk to people. Meeting new people is always fun =D (especially girls ).

Just go and have fun. I don't how it is where you are, but in South Africa, people drink, dance, smoke, and have fun with their friends on a good night's out.

The only under 18 clubs I ever went to were heavy metal/rock clubs, yeah I was a little emo in my younger days ^_^

You just go in, talk to people, sit down & drink (non alcoholic drinks obviously) then as the night goes on, if lots of other people are dancing, you join in.

I did used to drink before I went in, but if you're not then that's fair enough, you will still be able to have fun

I really do miss it, as boring as it may have sounded, it was almost more fun than going out and getting trashed in 18+ nightclubs

The clubs that are under 18 that I been to, everyone usually goes on ecstacy, so either people are rollin like crazy just sitting down or dancing their ass off actinga foo. but yeah every one is on pills tho where i'm from.

Just be yourself, do whatever you want to and whatever you think is "fun" just have a good time
