So, when I was eleven, I played truth or dare with a girl friend of mine and it was basically all oral sex stuff. I've asked my friend, but she says I'm still a virgin... I just don't know, though. Am I a virgin? Oral sex is sex, but I don't know if it classifies as virginity-losing sex...
What do you guys think? |

The description of losing ones virginity is to have anal or vaginal sex. If you have had either one of those you have lost your virginity. If not, you are a virgin.
Now, I'm sure a lot of people will try and tell you that oral counts or sorta counts. No. it doesnt. So you are a virgin

Most people don't consider oral sex actual sex, but it really depends or what you believe in. If you do believe that oral sex is sex just the same as penetration is then no, you are not a virgin. In my opinion oral sex is not sex so to me you would still be considered a virgin. But it all comes down to what you believe in.

Yes absolutely your virginity is intact to be lost when you finally meet that special girl and make love to her properly for the first time.

Was a penis inserted into either your vagina or your anus? If you answered no to both insertion points, then you are a virgin.

lol Bill Clinton's an a**hole.
Anyway, thanks guys. It's just been bothering me for years. I wasn't sure how girls lost virginity to each other because there's no penis... But I'm still a virgin!

Technically I'd view your hymen breaking as the moment of you losing your virginity. (unless that happens not through sex)
So no penetration = virgin. I wouldn't count experimentation as actual sex either, so yes, youre a virgin, its all good.

I'm gonna have to be the ass and make a contrary statement here.
First, I think virginity is a very personal definition. Some people view only vaginal sex to constitute a loss of virginity. I have met people who have told me that as a gay man I will always be a virgin because I will never have sex with a woman. That's their view. Other people view virginity as penetrative sex. Still others, view oral sex as a loss of virginity. In a study that was done a couple months back involving teens they asked how they defined virginity. Straight people mostly defined it as penetrative sex regardless of the whole used. Some straight people said only vaginal sex and some said oral sex did count. Gay men overwhelmingly said penetration was the line though some included oral. Lesbians rarely defined a loss of virginity as penetration and instead declared that oral sex constituted a loss of virginity. What I'm trying to say is that you should decide your own definition of virginity. If you don't think that oral sex counts then it doesn't.
