Shave or not to shave

Can anybody tell me why some people shave thier pubic area and some people dont? I suppose I'm just curious and would like to hear other peoples opinion. I personally shave all my hair off and have done so ever since it started growing around age 11. I dont like hair there, to me its uncomfortable, not clean and I just dont care for the look. I like it shaved. It's much cleaner and smoother.
And it looks nicer too. I started shaving since it starts growing. I don't like hair "down there"

I shave some off cuz bikinis or my underwear is low rise but the rest I trim cuz I don't lyk it long

Shaving pubes depends mostly from habits. Ancient greek and roman women used to shave; Arab women shave. In Europe, shaving is common in France, but not in Italy. In Italy only 20% of girls shave in this days: ten years ago nobody used to shave. I believe that in few years most girls will shave: is much better ! Clean, smooth and visible.

It's hard to break a habit that has been passed down for years and years. It's the way we grew up and stuff. Also, no one wants to wear a bikini to the beach and have random pubic hairs sticking out

Also, it mostly leaves you feeling cleaner and it makes me feel comfortable to shave.

I love my pubic hair, and I think it looks great on me-I've never shaved and I never will. I also don't care if it peeks through outside my bikini. I'm American, and I'm in Europe at the moment, and my European friend doesn't shave, either. I think her pubic hair looks very nice on her, and on other girls, and I just don't see any reason to shave-pubic hair is kind of your signature as a woman, something that separates you from the young girls-why would you want to shave that off? And I also love the way it feels.

I shave my scrotum completely and trim the rest. I never used to untill my currant GF asked me to atleast shave my scotum b/c well, she likes kissing it and doesnt like to get hair in her mouth. But up untill we started having sex, I didnt do a thing to my pubic area and actually liked my hair there. As far a girl and pubic hair, I prefer a girl to have some pubic hair, maybe not an overgrown bush but on the other hand, I dont like to see a completely bare one either.

*agrees* however, i do trim the edges. i don't like when others (mainly guys ^_^) can see my hair when i'm in a bathing suit. but i would never shave it all off! i like the feel, and it's fun to play with lol ^_^

I have hated my pubic hair since it started growing in so I've always shaved it. It's okay for guys to be hairy, but not girls, as far as I'm concerned. I know it's natural, but so is body odor, and nobody wants to smell some horribly stinky girl walking by, right?

Anyways, if my partner would prefer to see my skin rather than just a ball of hair, it's only fair for me to shave it, right? Plus, it's my body so I don't care what anyone else thinks - I prefer it shaved.

I greatly prefer shaved. It feels nicer when I masturbate, and I feel cleaner that way. I did let my hair grow for a while, and I did play with it, but the feeling right after I shave is just so nice. :-)
