I was watching Embarrasing Teen Bodies (a TV show where members of the public tell the millions of people watching their embarrassing health issues) the other day and part of the program said that you should change your underwear every day.

I think the presenter said it was because of infection and the fact that it's unhygienic which does make a lot of sense. Since seeing that episode I've been changing my underwear every day considering the possible side effects of not doing so.

The only problem is that I don't have enough pairs that properly fit and my mum hardly gets the washing done (well, not often enough to make sure I can wear the right undies).

So, basically, I was wondering how long I should be wearing one pair of underwear for? How long until it becomes unhygienic and I should change?

Yeah, I'd say change 'em daily even if you have to wash them. I've always changed them daily, just from a cleanliness standpoint not even thinking about the health risks.

I don't know if you properly understood but I was after how long would be a reasonable time to go without changing my underwear. Then again I guess you did hence several people telling me what I expected - I should change every day... which I shall continue to do so. I'll just put up with my smaller undies every so often.

And yes, I do plan to get some more pairs soon. I'm hopefully going shopping on Tuesday so I'll most likely get some then.

I probably meant to put what is the maximum time I should wear one pair, not how long is a good time. But yeah, I would imagine it would be one day so you were right.

I used to change them as and when they got dirty- when they got sweaty, when I got cum on them or when they got stained (or whatever other reasons there may be). Generally, that was most days.

Since seeing the show I have, however, started to change them daily no matter what condition they're in. And now that I think about it, yea, it was pretty disgusting to wear my underwear for more than a day.
