Unless you're trying to be underweight, it's unlikely that you're too skinny.
What is your current weight and height? That can alert use to whether you're underweight or not. Also keep in mind that some people have a growth spurt and then put on weight, and you probably don't want to mess with that if that's the case for you.
If you are more than 10 pounds underweight and not experiencing growth spurts, then you can gain weight by eating healthy foods such as nuts, foods with oils such as olive oil, cheese, and even unhealthy foods with some nutritional value such as ice cream. However, this is what you should do only if significantly underweight. Odds are that that's not the case for you; in a society with so many overweight and obese people, a normal, skinny, and healthy person can sometimes be labeled as underweight.

Well you could try eating more?
That doesn't work as well as you might think if one has a fast motablism.
OP: what you really want to try is eating foods with a high caloric value like pasta. Try and keep to somewhat healthy foods and try to stay somewhat away from unhealthy because even if you are skinny they arnt good for your health. Protien is another good thing to eat that will help you gain weight.
But the healthiest, best way to gain weight is by building muscle. Muscle weighs twice as much as fat and it looks healthier then fat and increases your size in a better looking way. Try some simple weight lifting to build up the muscle. You can truely gain weight faster that way then anyother way if you have a fast motablism.
I couldn't gain weight at all till I started weight trainning and in the last 8 months I've gainned 20lbs so it does work
if you choose to weight lift but your not sure what to do make another post saying so and I will give you some good work outs

Thanks guys!
I've been eating "oilier" foods and ice cream--not much change.
I am 4'10 or 4'11 and weigh 70 lb. Haha
Err.. the only successful ways to pack on pounds are either through, vigorous anaerobic exercise (weight lifting) and providing yourself with plenty of protein and complex carbohydrates to support muscle growth, or by activation of CB1 receptors.
This is where it gets tricky.. if you live in a medical cannabis state, talk to your doctor about it to get a script "off-label" as it's not indicated for weight loss yet.
Spain has already added anorexia nervosa and unhealthy body weight to the indications of prescribing medical cannabis; this was after the discovery that CB1 antagonists (chemicals that do the opposite of cannabis on the CNS) quite effectively block hunger cravings and the residual "euphoria" obese people receive from consuming food.

You know what they say about it?That it's made from corn, chemically altered, directly linked to hypertension, CVD and liver damage; and effectively causes type II diabetes and obesity?

Protein.... protein..... protein!
Thanks. I'm looking for an answer that...er... isn't too much work. =)
Thanks. I'm waiting for it to kick in now... As if it hasn't already.
Do NOT simply eat tons of protein, as people have recommended here, without the go-ahead from your doctor. Given your current height/weight, it sounds like you still have the figure of a child more than an adult, which is fine; that will change. However, I don't think you need to do anything out of the ordinary right now. It wouldn't hurt to talk to your doctor, particularly if your weight and height are significantly different than they were last time you saw your doctor. But odds are that you'll be fine without making any adjustments, some of which (such as major weightlifting or protein overdoses) could be harmful.
