Topic. I leave every once in a while to go to subway or something with friends, but we're not supposed to. There's a teacher that always lets you back in the building as long as you bring him back something.

You are not supposed to (i think i am not sure, only a half hour for lunch anyways though) but you could seeing as we are aloud to go outside and no one to stop you from going to the parking lot![]()

Nope partially because the closest place in walking distance is a mile away so the kids would have to get in their cars and drive away.... if the come back is a different story![]()

In high school, we couldn't leave at all except if we had early dismissal, which wasn't until later in the day. All but two doors were kept locked, and at those two doors were the hall monitors. I didn't mind though.
One night and one more time. Thanks for the memories, even though they weren't so great. "He tastes like you only sweeter."
We couldn't, but with only twenty-five minutes for lunch, I never thought that rule was unreasonable.
in the two high schools i went to, there was no open lunch at all, simply because there was absolutely nothing around the area (in one of them, there was a mini-mall with a grocery store and I think some Chinese restaurant but that's it, in the other school, there was nothing but houses)
We could in sixth form but were not supposed to beforehand.

In high school, only juniors and seniors, with signed parent slips, and one of whom having a car and legal driver's license, could leave to go off campus for lunch. We had several fast food places on my school's street... being it was less than a mile from the Daytona International Speedway, it was kind of a give-in.
At work, we can do what we want, as long as we're clocked out, and back in time. As soon as I get my own vehicle again, I'm going to start driving to Subway to get lunch.
Vai a farti fottere.
We were given freedom to go wherever we wanted in grade 11 and 12. There were about 10 places you could choose to go to nearby, and we had 50 minutes for lunch, so that worked out well.
The stars look very different today.
All throughout secondary, everyone was allowed to leave. We had 45 minutes for lunch, and the school was next to a main road filled with shops/cafes/chippies, a tesco extra and it was possible to head up the way to find even more shops, or go across past the train station to find even more! Amazing![]()

Worry, trouble and pain
Those old familiar foes, come to call again
on the doorstep
cap in thier hands
you've emptied all your pockets
just to pay the man
One day, one day
we'll forget this all one day
Just for now
we learn to say
Oh-oh-oh, We are not our sorrows
We are not our scars
We are only human
This is what we are

In my high school, seniors were allowed to leave campus for lunch, my friends and I used to go to McD's or Wendy's, good times![]()

all through high school we could go anywhere for lunch. There was no set period, so it could have been 1st all the way to 5th period.
In University, we're too far from anything that isn't own by Aramark, otherwise known as the shittiest company in the world that owns a monopoly on all our food sales.

I leave campus all the time for lunch, sometimes I just go home. We're not supposed to, but the rule isn't enforced at all. All the school really cares about is that students don't park in the faculty parking (which they do anyway).
