I just started growing pubes about 6 weeks ago. I don't have many yet, and they are just starting to turn a brown color which is darker than my hair on my head which is blonde. The thing is that I noticed that some of them are growing on the shaft of my penis near the base. I thought they grew above the penis and on the balls later. I actually got more hair on the penis itself than behind it. Is this normal?

In all probability you will find they grow in most places you expect eventually, just they might begin to grow in places you might not expect.

As you stated, you've started developing these signs of puberty not so long ago. It obviously depends on the person but usually it takes a few years for a person to finish the process of puberty, so you'll still be developing signs for a while to come so have patience and things will equal out.

Yeah it is. I know people who have it growing like on the bottom of the shaft. Mine dont do that, at least not yet lol. Mine is a little diff too I have black hair but the hairs on my legs and my penis area arent like totally pitch black, theyre like a lighter black to really dark brown kinda. Im guessing as I get more the color will come in

There will come a time when you want to stop developing, because you're either big enough, or got more than enough hair...but nature will always take its course.

No it's normal for it to grow there no matter how early

It is perfect for boy to get haor on shaft as well. First part of shaft where it is attached to base gets hair. Don't worry man.

It's kinda weird when i'm naked and look at myself, cos there are none on top of my penis, just the sides. Most boys I see in showers have a tuft of hair on top, and i'm still bald there.

Well when mine started all I had was a couple little patches growin out from the sides of the base of my penis, like not actually on it but right at the sides and none on top. Thats exactly how mine started bro before more came in youre in perfect shape

Yes it is normal. I also get a lot of hair on my shaft. It grows in different order for everybody.

Mine only just started like 6 weeks ago, end of September and I turned 13 in May. You got lots of time for them to grow. Plus it's not like I have a thick bush there or anything, just a little bit of hairs.

Supposedly, your pubes will come in about the same color as your eyebrows? Maybe your eyebrows are darker than you head hair? As for hair distribution- you will find that it grows in unexpected places.

I have to say, I never thought about hair around my anus area- until I had it!

It is all part of the craziness of puberty.
