In 7th grade German class, our teacher told us that when they celebrated Festival, which is also known as Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday etc., he said people would use their names backwards. My "German name" at the time...which I chose in class...we Bruno. Backwards it is Onurb. I've liked it so much since that I just keep using it.
