Where did you meet some of your closest friends? and how long have you known them?

I known my buddy Reece since primary school days

And I also have several friends that I've met in mental institutes. Clearly I must be seriously messed upstairs, since that's the only place I've ever been able to truly fit in and make friends. One of my closest mates that I've met from there is Brendan... we once had to share a room while we were both committed to the adolescent psychiatric ward down at the hospital

I don't have any current best friends. I tend to do a fantastic job at systematically destroying every type of relationship I get myself into.

You made friends whilst at the psychiatric ward. Congratulations. Last I was there, some kid tried to stab me with a pair of safety scissors. Apparently your social skills are at least tenfold greater than mine. I make lethargic, apathetic, suicidal kids angry enough to kill, simply by existing!

I don't have a "best" friend, but my few good friends and I all met in 8th grade, and graduated high school together... all but one, who switched schools in 10th grade, but was still close enough for us to torture sometimes.

I spent my first five years of school in a small private school
I know one girl from there still, and we're not close


Then I spent another four years (gr 5-8) as a shut in (homeschool)
No friends there.


Highschool, I've made a few really close friends that I trust. I haven't known them long (Shebly I've only known for a little over a year), but i know i can trust them.

Kyle: i met Kyle on the soccer field of all places. we were 6 and as i remember he didnt take what we were doing as totally serious! i ended up kicking him ( i was a bit agressive) and he cried and whined around. it was towards the end of the match so mom told me i should go over and apologize, i did and he seemed kinda a jerk to me even then! and i was like OK i said sorry can we go now? LOL About a week later mom announces to me i have a new friend coming over to play i was like all happy so the doorbell rings later i go running to it and slide to the door ( was in socks) and open it and there stood Kyle and his mom. Mom comes upbehind me and is like all HI how are you and come in. My mom said something like Say Hi to him jason! and i am like HI and i asked him does your leg still hurt?? lol
Kyle never got into soccer LOL i still play!!
also i am not sure if i consider Kyle a friend from how he is treated me the past few years, now he calls me drunk from south bend and gets all emotional sometimes...Eeeek!

I met one of my best friend's when I was a senior in high school and my other when we were roomed together freshman year.

I have a couple of people who i consider my best friends.

One of whom i have been friends with since i was 4 years old. My mum looked after him while she was a childminder, and then we were both in the same school year together.

My other best friend i met when he started dating a friend of the family about 7 years ago. They split up not too long afterwards, but we got on really well and we've been close ever since.

My friend Adam who i treat like shit because he is really annoying (but i will still name him here for the fact he calls us friends and has put up with my verbal abuse so he has earned me calling him a friend) i have known sense 3rd grade (i used to like him ) and my friend Phillip i met in 4th grade and he has never pissed me off, we are great friends. Some of my bests friends though i have just known sense maybe 7th grade or even met this year. Time and best friends are not parallel.

Throughout my life most of my best friends lived close to me and were in my school. No shit, huh.
