Help? Girl Trouble

So im 18 and just started college.
I met this girl in one of my classes and I added her on facebook. Her status said she was single, so I decided to start talking to her. It turns out I really like her and we have a lot in common, but when we started talking I found out she's seeing someone.
Well fast forward to the present..the girl I like has become official with the guy she's seeing. They've been going out for 3 wks now, but I'm still friends with the girl I like, we go out to eat or go to the mall like every tues and thurs for the past 2 wks. Also for some reason we're taking the same class that meets everyday, so we see each other everyday and we chat and text each other like everyday.

I don't know what to do...I like her a lot, but she has a bf now.
Part of me says just drop it and just be friends with her...but i cant..each time i try..the next day I see her..I like her again and we just talk and talk... :[
my friends say just be friends with her..and when they break up just take it from there? but she's one of those girls who don't break up..its the guy that breaks up with the girl.

idk..any ideas?

Bro it's called O.P.P. Haha nah honestly I would back off for just a little while and see where she goes with her relationship. Who knows it could be one of those one month flings. Keep optimism high!

I would just be friends for now, and who knows what might happen tomorrow, he could drop her or she could drop him, anything could happen and you have nothing to loose only gain.

David, a girl will still stay your friend even if she does have a boyfriend. I say, you still stay friends with her and so on. When they break up - you be there to comfort her and so on, but don't make your move straight away. Give it time. She may even realise that you are a better boyfriend candidate.

Just be there for her and try to be the best friend you can.

yeah, i would just simply wait for them to break up even though its college people get together and break up all the time.

what i WOULDNT do is get yourself into the "friend"/"best friend" area. once she sees you as a good guy friend she doesn't want to lose as a friend theres almost no chance of you getting with her.

im not saying dont be her friend, im just saying dont be in her best friend i dont want to lose you as my friend zone.
