I doubt it will hurt your chances of enlisting because the army needs people, but I can't say anything for sure. As for colleges, it will hurt your chances if I understand the system.

If you plan on going to college after the armed services, the institutions reserve the right to pull up your school records. Many veterans decide to go to college after the service partially because it doesn't cost them much if anything. As for the service, I am not sure. I imagine they do look at your record to see what kind of a person you are.

Actually, Jared is Canadian, and in the Canadian system it might not significantly effect getting into a university, since many schools do not require the kind of lengthy additional personal information US schools do. With good grades, it could be less of a problem than it would be anywhere in America.

im not sure about the states failed system, but in Canada they realise since elementary and secondary school when your entering a college/university your trying to be serious/ more mature. i dont see why they dont do that for you? but thats fucking retarded i almost feel bad for you
