Not sure just like to know i have a friend who is friends back. and everyone seems to talk about 'best friiends'

Ok i have knew this person for about 3 years but we have only really started to become proper friends in the past year. well we talk about what i would say mostly anything.. like we have watched porn together (just watch no jacking off or anything) he has slept over twice. and text all the time.

but i'm just wondering does this sound like a best friend. he tells me secrets ocasionaly but i don't have any secrets worth telling and i think he will think that i don't trust him or want to tell him.

How do i know if he thinks that i am a best friend of a good friend back that is the bit i am bothered about. like i will cover things up for him at school and don't tell him, that i help him. ?

You seem like good enough friends for him to be considered a best friend, I feel. Besides you can have more than one best friend. There's nothing wrong with that.

Everyone has a different perception and opinion of 'best friend,' but in my eyes, he seems like a pretty decent friend you associate yourself with. It seems like you guys are comfortable enough to confide in eachother. Loyalty is a big aspect.
