Girl from UCLA, help!

So I met this girl who I am fallling HEAD OVER HEELS in love with. She and I have so much in common and we're good friends, but apparently tonight she said she was going to soon have a boyfriend (next week, when she's scheduled to fly back to California). I have no idea what to feel and I'm sitting here feeling like my heart's been ripped right out of my chest.

This girl really means a lot to me; I care for her well being, I care for her, and I want her to have fun and be successful. But, she is apparently in love with a guy from back home. She's led me on and flirted like crazy putting on as if she's interested, but now she's apparently got another guy in mind.

What should I think? What should I feel? I feel so strongly for this beautiful girl but I don't want to get in the way of her and this 'guy from back home'. I want her to be happy, but at the same time think she's making a mistake by putting on so much as if she's interested only to bail and say she loves someone else.

Help please?

I went through this. What I would have done before she went back home was tell her how much I loved her. Sometimes it's more important to get your feelings out there than even think about whether she would want you or not, if you don't you'll regret it.

wait, aren't you both at UCLA? is she studying abroad or something and coming home? I'm confused.

anyway you should ask her out dude. At least tell her to give you a chance. Tell her long-distance relationships never work out and she's living a wretched fantasy while she could have the real thing with you. Ask her to give you 4 weeks to prove that you're an awesome bf. Just don't screw it up.
