Shooting Pains after Masturbation

I'm usually one giving medical advice on this forum, but I'm in so much pain I can't think straight.

After I just masturbated, I now have severe stabbing pains in my bladder/prostate area. Any gov-diagnoses?

Ouch, sounds awful. The only thing I could think of would be an STI, or maybe a tract infection. I would definitely see a doctor, though, no matter what it is.

It's gonna take a little more than for me to take a midnight run to the emergency department. But thanks for your helpful response.

Nobody said anything about the emergency room. I'd say schedule a doctor's visit and get it checked out. Otherwise you won't be able to get a definite diagnosis on anything.

Nothing other than the pain then? And it's a shooting pain? Like sharp cramping? or a burning sensation? or what?

I'm going to tentatively suggest bladder infection or a UTI, or the possiblity of muscle strain. Some more info would be good.

Has it gotten any better?

If this is a one time thing it's probably not a big deal. If it becomes a regular problem, though, you should schedule a visit with your doctor.

I get this sort of thing if I masturbate too much. Probably a good thing that I've got a limiter, really =D

Did the pain subside quickly? How long did it last? Is the pain still there?

I believe I know what the problem is, but please answer my questions so I can be sure.

I agree with an earlier poster- this could be a one-time occurrence. Possibly a perineal muscle spasm, etc. If you are as knowledgeable as you say you are about medical care, then you should know that you will not get a definitive diagnosis until someone knows your sexual history (STI/STDs) and you pee into a cup for microscopic exam & culture/sensitivity.

EDIT: There is one TRUE emergency diagnosis that you need to consider: Torsion of the Testicle. Chances are slim, but you need to be aware of the possibility.-red
