You may have been left out of the loop. I'm currently in the hospital, and as such am not residing in my room at the moment. Calling me first thing in the morning to bitch at me about how messy my room is, and how it needs to be cleaned "right now" is a sign of your own stupidity. Would you perhaps like me to phone a maid? I'll ask my doctors to see if they'll allow me to drive myself home to vacuum, i'm sure they'll be okay with it.

Also, ultimatums: they're ineffective, and make you seem like cunt. It also, makes you seem like a crazy person when you're telling me that my room has to be clean today, or I will be moving out. This, to me at least, seems rather ridiculous.

Please, take your Xanax and go back to sleep.

Wow, your Mum has a terrible sense of timing, and there really is a time and a place to discuss such mundane matters. Especially with your being in the hospital I would think you have bigger priorities right now!

Well, I would just let your Mum vent, and I would not mind her. Chances are she just needs to hollar at someone, and it was your bad luck you had picked up the telephone. Just don't respond when someone is that irrational as there is really nothing you can say in such a situation.
