My favorite types of tea are (in order)

Whole bud white tea, which I like to mix with peppermint. But I also enjoy other flavored whites like blueberry-açai, strawberry, and peach.

Rooibos, which I always drink flavored, but absolutely love!

Oolong, which I feel has a distinctly nutty flavor. There's one that I have that's mixed with papaya... soooo good!

Maté, which I love to mix with other teas, and use when I need a pretty potent pick-me-up.

and fruity herbals of all kinds.... peach, plum, apple, etc. They mix well with other teas.

I always buy my teas whole-leaf, and use a strainer and rock cane sugar to prep and sweeten my tea. I tend to be a snob about my cups o' tea... lol..

That is such a stereotypical British response.
Gimme mah cup o breakfast tea!

Bleh. I compare plain black tea to Dunkin' Doughnuts coffee... there's no flare, no flavor, no aroma, no spice. Booooorrrinng.

I bet if you had a cup of my favorite tea, Pistachio Apple Pie (rooibos tea, dried apple bits, pistachio chips, and cinnamon).... mmmmmm...
You'd look at your standard cup o tea with as much disgust as I do.

I tend to prefer the flavored teas. Don't care much for the standard tastes.

I'm a bit of a junkie. I like almost any tea. However, I can do without all the fruity stuff. I feel it sometimes covers up the true flavour of the tea. And, Lipton, that crap that people call tea?! Yeah, they can toss that in the trash too!
I'm back on Gov for the first time in almost a year
I missed it alot, but life got a bit crazy, and I had bigger priorities...but I'm back now!

None of this fruity flavoured crap or anything, just a nice cup of standard Yorkshire Tea will do me.

Tea without tea leaves doesn't count as actual tea. Say no to herbal.

You're right... Maté, herbal, and rooibos are technically tisanes.
