I ordered my stuff 6 days ago. The store is in my town - just 30 minutes away. I still haven't received it. Shit.

Why didn't you just go to the store?
I went to the store, but at the time they didn't have everything in stock. They told me it would be in stock the next day, but I decided to order when I got home.
what most likely happened was that:
-it didnt get in next day, or they forgot (or didnt care) to put it in the mail the next day
-takes a day for the mail people to pick it up and bring it to the post office
-a day for processing the mail
-day to ship it.
toss in a few more random occurrences and there ya goI hate the mail

I recently had something I sent in the mail take over a week to be delivered from where I live in north Auckland, to a place in south Auckland, which is a distance of less than 50km.
I also once had something take a long time to be delivered which I ordered internationally from the USA, when it turned up, the packaging notes indicated it had been routed via Uganda. Yes, Uganda. Work that one out!![]()

Shipping sucks, I know.
I once received a letter from my grandparents for my birthday, and received it a week and a half later. It was dated the 10th, I got it on 22nd.
And they only live like 30 Km away.
I am Canadian
As much as I love Amazon, it takes forever.
