Default Need A Little Advice for the Hunnies.

Alright, so there's this absolutley BEAUTIFUL girl that is one year younger than me. I talk to her occasionally, and we say hi when we see each other and all that good stuff. Well anyways, my friend who is a total ass (No, I'm not saying that out of jealousy), is going out with her, but it doesn't seem like it will hold up. Anyways, I don't want to bug her by texting her a lot, so I tend to kind of stay out of the way.

Any advice out there from you wise people?

What are you trying to achieve?

From where I am standing, if you want to try break them up and get with them, DON'T. You will probably lose all respect that you have with your mate (Even if he is an ass) and the girl may pick up on it and lose respect/trust as well. I have a friend who is a complete dick to his girlfriend and I confronted him once telling him about how I felt with him treating her like that. He changed not too long afterward, for the better. You may want to consider going this to your mate?

If you want to just be there for her, then by all means go ahead and do that, I would probably recommend it. By showing that you are someone she can lean on away from her boyfriend will build trust and a close friendship. But at the same time, try not to ruin your mates relationship.

If you would like to clarify your question it would make things easier.

Continue to do what you're doing. Just stay out of the way and don't try and mess with their relationship. Your post is kind of vague so I'm going to take some liberties and assume that you want to date her. Would that be correct? If so then start to create a good impression now by acting the gentleman and let her current relationship run its course. Then and only then do you make a move.

the same thing happened to me. i had these 2 friends that were going out. i really likes the guy, but i didnt tell anyone i did. anyway, they didnt have a good relationship, so i just kinda waited until they broke up (which was 11 months later >.<) and now we are both single and i still like him, so hopefully something will happen

No, even though my friend is a bit, jerkish? I wouldn't go that low to achieve this. I want to become good enough friends with her so that if she DOES break up with him, after a couple weeks I might be able to ease in and just ask her out. I'm not looking for sex at this moment
