Ha. guess what! we lost our house. now were moving in with my un-biological grandparents. their conservative Catholics that hate gays and organize and lead protests in attempts to completely elimnate gay rights, marriage rights, etc, etc. they believe that all gays should either become non-existent, live segregated from the rest of the population or at least burn in the fiery pits of hell for all of eternity (being gay myself I just can't wait). they don't believe in the internet or television and therefore lead thier wonderful lives totally seperated from the rest of society in their secluded but luxurious mansion which is conveniently located in the middle of a fairly large forest miles from the closest town. I personaly am estatic about living with them. we'll be living with them for about a month and then we will move into a new rented house which is located the next town over from where i go to school. we can only live there for around 3 months because the house is currently going into foreclousure but we asured we had at least 3 months. *sigh* life is totally awesome.

Very venty. I really don't know what I can suggest that can really help, seeing as how it appears all of these things are being forced onto you. Do these grandparents know that you're gay? If they don't, I'd recommend staying in the closet. At least to them. Try and be really flexible with the people you hang out with and what not.

If you are only 13 then its best you stay in the closet. There is nothing at all to be gained by letting anyone know right now. I know you know that their ranting about gays burning in hell is all bullshit so you dont have to worry about that.

You have had a lot of shit to deal with in your short life so far....I seem to remember reading and responding to another thread from you a while back? Anyway just know that as you get older you will be in more control of your life and do your best to tough it out now. It will make you a stronger person in the long run.

as a person who grew up in near poverty myself, I can tell you with experience: you should be grateful. Instead of ripping on the people who will quite literly put a roof over your head for awile. Believe or not, most people are not gay, so you should try to be somewhat tolerant of their difference of opinion on the matter......and this is especially true if you are living in their home...

Anywhoo, cheer up. I've been were you are. My grandparents didn't disagree with me on gay issues per se, but we disagreed on everything else. In the end though, I found i was still ginourmously grateful to have them.

And besides, if you are only 13, there is still a very good chance you will not turn out to be gay by the time everything is said and done. You have a long way to grow still. And yes, that was a cheesy pun.
