my father is a fucking prick and i cant wait to move out
ok so lets start at the beginning. my dad was raised in a big family, he was the youngest, his father, my grandfather, is a short tempered, grumpy man who goes off about everything. he also definitely had his favorite children in the family and my dad isnt one of them. so, my dad is exactly like this. you cant talk to him, he turns everything into an argument and twists the story around so its everyone else's fault except his. im the oldest in my family (im 16) and my brothers are 10 and 7. i also think that he hates me and the 10 yr old because he treats the 7 yr old like he walks on water. seriously, the kid could do no wrong. he barely ever yells at him (the kids name is cody btw) and lets him get away with stuff that me and garrett would never get away with. as a result, garett and i hate cody and are constantly leaving him out, ignoring him, garrett calls him names like "fat" and "bucktooth" etc. my mom doesnt like my dad either, she tries to talk to him about how garrett and i feel and just today we tried to have a "family meeting" but of course my dad flipped out, accused us all of lying and stormed out. (my dad also belittles people in this family and calls them "nasty, stupid" etc. it lowers a person's self esteem after a while) so anyway, my mom keeps saying how she'd get a divorce but the 2 things that are stopping her are 1) the kids and 2) the fact that my dad "couldnt just be a man and say ok you can keep the house ill leave...he'd fight her on everything" (a quote from my mom)
my boyfriend and friends are really supportive and my boyfriend wants me to move in with him when im 18 to get away from all this shit, and honestly i cant wait til i turn 18 cuz im GONE. im sick of him and im sick of cody, who is a spoiled brat and cries whenever he doesnt get his way, all cuz of my dad. basically, cody has like no friends and all my friends find him to be whiny and annoying, because basically, my father "ruined" him.
oh and one more thing. everything has to fit into "his" schedule. whenever he comes home from work he has to go and sleep for like 2 hrs and if ANYONE disturbs him, oh god forbid someone would need something, he FLIPS OUT.
basically he should have been born a female, cause he's all pms-y like one.
i just had to get that out.
