OK, this question may sound stupid.. but I haven't had sex before, so I have no idea about this stuff. That's why I'm asking. I'm 20 and both me and my gf are virgins (don't laugh).

I just want to know how to do it when I break her hymen. I mean.. does it hurt her a lot? Should I just shove it in there quickly, or should I do it slowly?? If it DOES hurt her a lot, would it affect her from actually enjoying us having sex?

I know that the pain depends on the hymen and all.. but if she has a normal one - neither too elastic nor too rigid, how should I break it?

Any advice would be nice.

The chances are her hymen is already broken. It can break through every day activities, so yeh, she's got 20 years worth of times it could break - it may already have broken, and it'll sting a bit (if it hasn't), I gather anywho, cos it's a piece of skin being broken :l

Be gentle. It is possible to make small tears on the inside of the vaginal wall and stuff like that, so I'd say go slow to reduce your chances (and so that she does't feel like you're stabbing her). Chances are that it'll hurt for her the first time around (even if her hymen is broken, it takes time for a vagina to get used to being used in a new way), but for me the pain subsided enough for it to still be pleasurable. So no, it won't ruin the sex, but yes, it does hurt.

Don't concentrate on the hymen. It should not be the main concern about your first time.

Sex often hurts for a girl the first time (or first few times) regardless of whether her hymen is still intact or not. It is not the act of breaking the hymen that causes most pain, but the new sensation os being penetrated, being nervous and clenching the vaginal muscles muscles, not enough lubrication, being penetrated too deeply, going too fast, etc.

DO NOT "just shove it in there quickly" - that's not going to be pleasurable for her. Sex is about communicating and making sure both partners needs are met. Make sure you are both relaxed and there is enough lubrication. Go slowly. Ask if it hurts, if it does, stop moving until she gets used to the sensation before you start again.

As I said, sex often hurts for women the first time regardless of whether there is a hymen there or not. What will determine whether or not she "enjoys sex" as a whole or is eager to try again is not the pain, but how you handle it on an emotional level.

First off I don't see why anyone would laugh at you for being a virgin, that is very admirable. And it's good your gf is as well.

Some girls say it hurts others don't feel a thing. Most likely her hymen may already be broken, it is very thin and something as simple as riding a bike can break it. For the first time just go really slow and talk to her as you go,

maybe u need to know that all women have there hymen broken sometime in there life, and really it isnt a big of a deal just dont be to fast and hard or it will hurt even after intcorce.

oh and about when u will do it... well theres no rush and if the hymen breaking makes u sick then maybe u shouldnt have sex any time soon

ps: y would we laugh about u beign a virgin not everyone has sex at the same age and time.
