Well, the only time i heard of one expireing was when my friend had it for 2 years.. but i would say about 6 months (dont take my word, its just a guess) and it should say on the packed

Read the exp date on the box or condom wrapper. Dont store them in your wallet. That will quicken its expiration .

They last for years if stored properly, but all condoms have the date on the packet, so check that.

for several years after they are produced. each condom has an expiration date printed on wrapper, refer to that in the future, if it is a novetly condom and for some godforsaken reason it does not have a date, do not use it. in condoms are exposed to heat, cold, friction, puncture or other environmental factors (like the dreaded wallet condom) it is not safe to use, so the expiration date is not a fool proof way to tell if a condom is still good. better safe than sorry, just buy a new pack at the drug store, don't risk it.

i had someone come and talk about this subject at school.

she said not to use one if it is 6 months away to the exp. date. that way it takes into acount for the "wallet" or the "car glove box on a 102* day" problems.

so i always give my self 6 months.

If it's a novelty condom, don't use it anyway if you're relying on condoms for protection, because they're not reliable - they're not meant for use as a contraceptive. They are what they say they are - a novelty.

First of all, your wallet's likely to be kept in your pocket, where it's warm - which makes them wear away, and might be sat on. Also, it might be more at risk of wearing in there.

yeap heat can degrade the latex which isnt good when the lates barrier is what keeps you safe from the std's and getting ur girl pregnant. There is already a chance that condoms will break, tear, etc so why increase those chances by damaging them ?

My golden rule is if in doubt throw them out. Condoms are cheap and well buying another condom for a dollar lets say is cheap in comparison to what u would be paying with child support
