The vagina is pretty darn flexible. Get a girl aroused enough, and it should be able to accompany most sizes unless you are really big. You should definitely be careful, especially if she's never masturbated (really?). You may make her more aroused, but the whole "loosen a girl up" thing is kind of a "too much porn" sort of thing. Concentrate more on foreplay. If she's never masturbated, though, are you sure she is ready for sex?

I would say slow down. I would recommend her figuring out how she likes to please herself and then how you can please her with your fingers. If she has never had anything in there, it is going to be painful for her.

One of the things girls require before having sex for the first time is adequate foreplay and this involves fingering and oral so she becomes a little more looser and should be done gradually over a period of time as well to right before enaging in sex...if you think you're just going to jump right in and go right for putting a penis in her, good luck. Noone can really determine an absolute truth regarding the size of a virgin's vagina...due to physical and physcological factors in a girl. some girls are aroused very easily...others have small openings to begin with, others large. Its something that you have to find out hands on with your girlfriend, and when you do, you'll know her body and be able to please her.

Just so you know, the hymen is located at the entrance of the vagina not in it. So having an hymen really doesn't make a vagina tighter. All it does is make penetration impossible if we're talking about a resilient hymen which does not occur in a lot of cases and needs a small surgery. Other than that, the hymen is a pretty flexible membrane that should strech easily and can even be stretched during physical activity.

And your vagina is composed of muscles who surrounds what's being put in it. If it's only a small object like a finger it will close in on it and it may seems like the vagina is tighter than let's say if it's a penis that's in it. It accomadates to what's being put in it.
