When I say a guy is sweet it is a good thing. Just don't let her calling you sweet lead to you being taken advantage of....I've seen it way too many times.

Typically, yes. People aren't prone to give a term of endearment, or make remarks of such unless there is some kind of positive response from said individual when you speak with them. I know I don't call people sweet unless I think so. Though, to be honest, that doesn't mean she necisarrily wants a relationship with you. She may jsut think you're a nice guy.

From experience, when girls call guys "sweet" it hasn't been because they 'fancy' them, it's because they really like that person. It doesn't often mean they are interested in that person as anything other than a friend, or someone nice to talk to.

It's a good thing, sure, but it doesn't necessarily mean that she's interested in you. I have a handful of guy friends who can be charming, cute, and sweet. And I'm not afraid to tell them as much. But it doesn't mean I'm interested, it's just an observation.

I had that once when I was either 15/16. As one Girl put it, "Aww, your voice is well sweet"

Not exactly the choice of word I'd have used to describe my lack of voice deepening at that age, but atleast it wasn't insulting or anything.

As all the others have said, it's usually gonna be a good thing, it means they like you...but it doesn't mean they want you as a boyfriend. But I, too, have trouble responding to compliments like that...it feels like just "Thanks" won't be enough. Sometimes you just gotta smile, say thanks and say "Not really.." because they love modesty

If you're looking to "get her," you want it to mean either one. Girls DO like really nice, sweet, caring guys too, not just badasses.
