Red Lump on Scrotum

About 4-5 days ago I started noticing a good sized red lump on the upper scrotum closes to my penis shaft. Now, I thought it was a pimple so I attmpted to pop it, a white puss came out and yet the size still remains, it is also sore to the touch...



Any ideas? Quick remedies? My girlfriend was planning on having sex tonight....

sounds like a big pimple, keep the area clean and dry and it'll go away in time

I agree, pimple is the most likely situation. Keep an eye on it for the next few days; if it's still showing no signs of improvement in a week or two, or if it gets worse, then get it checked out by a doctor.

Alright so no signs of improvement, but my father said it could just be a simple in grown hair.... What's the best way to check to see if it is?

well if its an ingrown hair, then it just takes time to heal.

Well seemings how he's the one who scheduales the Doc appointments around here, I basically told him what was going on. When I explain to him how large it was, he suggested it may just be an ingrown hair. I tried a 3 day treatment of Bacitracin (Antibiotic Cream) and nothing helped.

What's confusing is it pops like a pimple under little pressure, but doesn't change size and its "bald" so to speak, it also has one spot where it looks like the skin is turned inside out or as a hair is growing IN insted of OUT.

Any quick ways to get rid of it? I really hate it and me and my girl were suppose to have some goood sex this weekend cause she owes me big time.

it seems like it's just an ingrown hair. just keep the area clean, bathe everyday, and it'll dissapate on it's own.

lol love that "just do it anyway" well when my girl goes down to suck it a bit and goes "WTF IS THAT SHIT" im not gonna be in the mood for explaining....

Try a warm compress several times each day (perhaps 3-4 times). Take a wash cloth and get it super wet... ring it out... stick it in the microwave for a minute or so... watch out- it will be hot... just place it on the lesion for 10 minutes or so...

Both pimples and sabaceous cysts are common on and around the penis. Neither is a big deal, and both will respond to the warm compress.

Do this a few times each day for a couple days and it should help.

If the conditions persists or gets worse see you family doc.
